The Pitch Contest is a part of the “WENA INTERNATIONAL TRADE FAIR: NEW VOICES, NEW TRADE ”. The purpose of the business pitch is to encourage emerging business models who fall within the WenA focus sectors and to support them to gain visibility both in the local and international market.

To participate in the business pitch contest, individuals will apply through the application portal. Only a total number of 10 applicants will make it to the pitch contest with investors on the contest day of the WenA trade fair.
The first 30 or 50 applicants are picked, based on the selection criteria, and the best 10 applicants are picked based on the adherence to the selection criteria and viable business pitches.
Pitchers will have a total of 10 minutes each to pitch their business ideas to the judges, and also a model to demonstrate what the applicant is pitching. When each pitch is done, the judges will get a chance to make comments
