New Voices New Trade

The WenA International Trade Fair

SMEs are disproportionally affected by trade barriers such as access to markets (local and international), access to finance, lack of information, the complexities of certification processes, foreign exchange, etc. Inefficiencies resulting from trade policy are major trade barriers that need to be addressed.

To promote trade and investment, there is a need to bridge the gap between manufacturers, distributors, and end-users, and to create more platforms for synergy within the value chain.

The WenA International Trade fair tagged “New Voices, New Trade” is an annual product exhibition and promotion event powered by the Women Enterprise Alliance (WenA).

The trade fair will bring together operators, regulators, and other stakeholders involved in African cross-border trade to network, showcase their goods and services, and have insightful discussions. The ultimate goal is to identify opportunities for the businesses we support to export their products and expand their presence across Africa.

This trade fair will amplify investment opportunities in agriculture, technology, and other business sectors, as well as encourage export readiness of indigenous (made in Nigeria) products.

From the 6th – 11th of November, 2023, the WenA International Trade Fair will also be celebrating the Global Entrepreneurship Week 2022, bringing together the best innovators in the SME industry and highlight their important work in nation building.

KEY OBJECTIVES

The WenA International Trade Fair 2023 is organized to enable companies, businesses showcase and demonstrate their latest products and services, meet with industry partners and explore new opportunities. It is a five (5) day event.
