This session will be kick off with an opening speech by the honorable minister of women affairs, conversations will focus on ways by which women can go into international trade and exportation of most of their local products, the session seeks to open the eyes of women and show them how much trade can be diversified and how to harness exportation opportunity.
This session would focus on trade and export as it relates to facilitating payment within the Africa continental free trade area, all processes involved including how to go about taxes for exportation, how the Africa continental free trade area works etc. this session would also critically analyze how export-ready the SMEs in Nigeria are and how much they are willing to explore the possibility of opening up to global trade.
This session would also focus on trade and export as it relates to digitizing logistics for export. One of the major issues SMEs find it difficult to think in the direction of exporting is because a large number of them are concerned about the issue of logistics, as they tend to think that the cost implication as it involves logistics would be an issue. This session tends to explore the possibilities of digitizing logistics as a means to ensure a seamless logistics process for SMEs.
This session would focus on market access and investment as it relates to market development, branding and packaging and investment. The session would also include a business pitch contest where some business ideas would be given seed grant for their businesses
